Neutral Holiday Decorating

Let’s do some shopping today. I am starting early in the season by sharing some pretty neutral holiday decorating ideas from Amazon and Target.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no cost to you.

Do you get as excited as me when you start switching from summer to fall and winter decorating?

The neutrals I am going to share with you today are all from Amazon and Target. Let’s get shopping!

If you are anything like me, you have collected your fair share of holiday decorations over the years, but I also love finding new pieces!

I try my best to incorporate old and new décor to create new memories in my home. See my post here where I share tips on decorating with what you already have.

Neutral holiday decorating has the advantage of blending in with pieces you may already have and making a cohesive statement for the holiday season.

Neutrals are a nice background to red and green that automatically comes along with the holidays.

I love the nostalgia, memories, and warmth that the holiday season brings to my home.

And as much as I love these feelings, I also love easy and budget friendly ideas for decorating, who is with me?

This tree is so perfect and a great size to work in a variety of spaces, I am loving the lights too! This tree is so simple, yet pretty.

Why Neutrals Work

I own a ton of conventional holiday decor in addition to the items I am showing you.

I still love the tradition of red and green, never goes out of style, but neutrals are nice and easy to put together.

There is still a lot of builder grade 90s going on in my home and the neutrals help to brighten up some of the wood and green I have for a more updated and cozy look.

Some neutral pieces can be uses year round, perhaps in a different room or serving a different purpose.

Neutrals can create a feeling or sense of calm and serve as blank canvas to add in other decor items or furniture.

Wrap Up

I am loving some of the neutral finds for the holidays!

Holiday decorating is a great time to evaluate decor pieces you have, what can be switched around for a new look, or buy some new items to add to your collection!
